Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Krzysztof Sanocki took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Independiente's goalie and right to Tytus Turak. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Independiente's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 21st minute, Elvio Ioritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Herena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zézinho Paulista in the 24th minute. Krzysztof Sanocki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Severino Herena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Krzysztof Sanocki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's Severino Herena threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yao Chen Fei, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Colombain Parham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Iraitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krzysztof Sanocki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gencal Sayıl might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Herena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gencal Sayıl ran back to his position shaking his head. 52 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Sanocki came free, but Severino Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute of the match, Anastasio Iraitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Colombain Parham saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Severino Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencal Sayıl, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute, Krzysztof Sanocki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Sylvain Ransom took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severino Herena. Severino Herena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencal Sayıl in the 79th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Severino Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx's Colombain Parham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Iraitz in the 83rd minute of play. Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Anastasio Iraitz in Independiente was the one to initiate the kick off. In the 101st minute, Krzysztof Sanocki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. When the referee ended the match the Cx AY YILDIZ T.I.M. Cx players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
