Dante Baros's late challenge caught a Cosa nostra Lyon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Baros helped the player get up and apologised. Cosa nostra Lyon made a substitution. Erwann Patrice replaced Bacary Kerneis. Dante Baros kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodd Laing during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute Rodd Laing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Alemparte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Davy Patron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Alemparte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Cosa nostra Lyon from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sem Barang made a kick off. Clem Fath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Luco in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Luco came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Rogelio Luco put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Clem Fath. Clem Fath was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tassara kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Clem Fath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sem Barang in the 96th minute of play.

The Altermundi FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
