When Bryan Ramachandran came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryan Ramachandran couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the game, Arif Soon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GD Almargense the free kick. After 22 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Arif Soon. GD Almargense's Miguel Magalhães quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Afiq Nair, made in the 24th minute of the game. 26 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Millot came free, but Ali Artuner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danish Ning hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. GD Almargense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Millot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Artuner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enzo Millot went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

Abílio Aveiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. Ali Artuner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Pepi in the 94th minute of the match.
