When Eloy Pello fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's protests and gave Eloy Pello a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Eloy Pello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariusz Ratulowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10thth minute of the game Jerzy Jastrowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Simon Seber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jerzy Jastrowicz was slow to take the kick. During this time White Star Troopers's players had a chance to rest. Iwo Lepper was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Simon Seber got control of the ball when Jerzy Jastrowicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zbigniew Laba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariusz Ratulowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeusz Buda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Simon Seber made a huge save. When Eloy Pello was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. The supporters of White Star Troopers booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Pello didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Proca was the one to do the kick off. Zbigniew Laba made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mariusz Ratulowski sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Buda in the 55th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Simon Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when White Star Troopers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Jastrowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbigniew Laba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariusz Ratulowski in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Benicio Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zbigniew Laba came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Mariusz Ratulowski. But to his dismay, Mariusz Ratulowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zbigniew Laba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Ratulowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Mariusz Ratulowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariusz Ratulowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbigniew Laba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sancho Andres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryszard Waselenczuk's late challenge caught a Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryszard Waselenczuk helped the player get up and apologised. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Leonel Ourente was substituted for Mauro Montes. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when White Star Troopers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 95th minute of the match Gerardo Etxepare sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zbigniew Laba skillfully saved the ball.
