With a little luck, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Bogdan Lobonț got control of the ball when Delmar Oskitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudio Bucciarelli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Bogdan Lobonț skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 45th minute Narcis Agachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Bucciarelli was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Matias Chepe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Aurelio Astudillo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aurelio Astudillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calistrat Potopea's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute.
