An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Otsoa in the 13th minute of play forced Jumentus Rock Club's goalkeeper Tomás Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jumentus Rock Club's Tomás Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Otsoa in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Nestor de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Vänge IF's Mauro Otsoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Ceresso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 23rd minute Mauro Otsoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Dieguinho Massa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tomás Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Mauro Otsoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Ceresso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Bruno Giordani struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tomás Ceresso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vänge IF. After 39 played minutes Jumentus Rock Club got a freekick which was hit by Nestor de Souza. Bruno Giordani might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Giordani ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomás Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Otsoa in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Vänge IF's Zoltán Tálas was substituted for Rune Aspengren. The wind increased when Reinaldo Arce made the kick off in the second half. Tomás Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Albäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor de Souza came free, but Ciriaco Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vänge IF's Bruno Giordani got a free kick in the 55th minute. Luiz Eduardo Gomes's late challenge caught a Vänge IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 75 minutes of play, Vänge IF's Markus Albäck made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Ceresso was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Jumentus Rock Club's Tomás Ceresso got control of the ball when Danilo Markel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Markus Albäck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomás Ceresso. That made the score 1-3 in the 82 minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Arce came free, but Ciriaco Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Giordani got free with Tomás Ceresso in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Vargas to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Dieguinho Massa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jumentus Rock Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
