Deng Kun Xu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Loïc Payen made a huge save. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Yang Ming Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serdar Gulson in the 7th minute of play. With an all-out effort, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Loïc Payen threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herminio Vincente, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 14 minutes into the game, Horea Vrejiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lëtzebuerg the free kick. After a rather tough play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Horea Vrejiu got a free kick in the 14th minute. Yang Ming Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiu Xi Wen in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute Qiu Xi Wen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yang Ming Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Serdar Gulson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Yang Ming Ran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Cirilo Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yang Ming Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Serdar Gulson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lëtzebuerg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 57 played minutes C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a freekick which was hit by Gu Hui Liang. The audience was convinced that Iordache Donici's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loïc Payen was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Loïc Payen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Vincente in the 76th minute of the match. It was Tim Tudor who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Bărbătescu in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper Loïc Payen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes of play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Cazimir Bărbătescu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loïc Payen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Gotzon thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Yang Ming Ran, a very annoying self made goal in the 88th minute which led to 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cazimir Bărbătescu in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loïc Payen prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
