After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's 沈笑伟 got a free kick in the 12th minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute, Mathijs Rokeloos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Herman Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Knut Utfal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KFC Cromvelde's Karl-Heinz Kaltz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Knut Utfal in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Louis Van Bever prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jean-Louis Van Bever made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Cristi in the 27th minute. Ronaldo Cristi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Louis Van Bever read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Gabriel Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Kaltz in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the KFC Cromvelde defense, Knut Utfal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Louis Van Bever. The KFC Cromvelde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Louis Van Bever should have stopped the shot. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Utfal in the 36th minute of play. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Utfal, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute, Mathijs Rokeloos made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Fanström. Doffes Damer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Doffes Damer's Gabriel Fanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathijs Rokeloos was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Gabriel Fanström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathijs Rokeloos. 52 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Utfal came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathijs Rokeloos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Fanström having to make a save. Gabriel Fanström made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Mathijs Rokeloos sent off a good shot on target. Mathijs Rokeloos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Gabriel Fanström 61 minutes into the match. Doffes Damer's Inge Braa was substituted for Ronaldo Cristi. 75 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Braa came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Doffes Damer booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jochen Van den Panhuizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Inge Braa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Jean-Louis Van Bever was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Greg Barrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Louis Van Bever. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Greg Barrera ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Doffes Damer had won after a very even match.
