The Gorgory fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Gorgory's Oscar Arevalo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 20thth minute of the game Oscar Arevalo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Keszi Athletic's Claudinho Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gorgory were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Keszi Athletic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dan Benet took the corner. 23 minutes into the game, Hugó Révész cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Abel Orlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oscar Arevalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keszi Athletic's Sabin Calderon was substituted for Anton Kutnjak. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugó Révész stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Ecobescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Claudinho Taffarel, 4-2. The supporters of Keszi Athletic booed when Gorgory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Keszi Athletic had won after a very even match.
