Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angelo Grabiel took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Ovidio Guzman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Weets. In the 3rd match minute, River de Ramos Mejía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Bergessio to maneuver through the defense. With 5 minutes on the clock, Metodi Dutzov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in River de Ramos Mejía fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! In the 6th minute, Nuno Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eleuterio Maureo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Made in Honduras's zone, Angelo Grabiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Guzman came out of the goal and Angelo Grabiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejo Maties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ovidio Guzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Made in Honduras's Ovidio Guzman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Grabiel in the 17th minute of play. Eleuterio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommas Lanphan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 29th play minute Angelo Grabiel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ovidio Guzman. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommas Lanphan in the 33rd minute of play forced River de Ramos Mejía's goalkeeper Eleuterio Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Made in Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Angelo Grabiel scored to the left of an out of position Ovidio Guzman, making the score, 2-1. Eleuterio Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommas Lanphan in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Gabriel-Omar Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River de Ramos Mejía's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel-Omar Batistuta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Angelo Grabiel came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the River de Ramos Mejía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Grabiel couldn't finish the play. Angelo Grabiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommas Lanphan made a kick off. The supporters of River de Ramos Mejía booed when Made in Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruth Schilder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Alejo Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's Angelo Grabiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Guzman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Made in Honduras's Guillermo Mendez got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ovidio Guzman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleuterio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After taking down the ball on Made in Honduras's corner Nuno Perez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eleuterio Maureo quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Made in Honduras defense, Gonzalo Bergessio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidio Guzman. The Made in Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidio Guzman should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Alejo Maties ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Guzman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 71 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's Angelo Grabiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Guzman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Grabiel in the 75th minute of play forced Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Ovidio Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When River de Ramos Mejía's Angelo Grabiel in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Made in Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Made in Honduras getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Guillermo Mendez hit a great ball. Made in Honduras's Ben Delaune was substituted for Ruth Schilder. In the 81st minute Angelo Grabiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommas Lanphan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Eleuterio Maureo made a huge save. River de Ramos Mejía's Eleuterio Maureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save River de Ramos Mejía from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Made in Honduras's Ben Delaune got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Ovidio Guzman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Gonzalo Bergessio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Angelo Grabiel made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Guzman. Made in Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. When River de Ramos Mejía's Angelo Grabiel in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Made in Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes into the game, River de Ramos Mejía's Gonzalo Bergessio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Guzman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. River de Ramos Mejía had won after a very even match.
