CD Municipal's George Forsyth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save CD Municipal from getting a goal against them. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Amaral in the 7th minute of play. Isac Gligor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Cassaretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute CD Municipal were awarded a corner. Florin Stancu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but George Forsyth made a huge save. Isac Gligor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 28th minute of the match. Isac Gligor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. George Forsyth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florin Stancu in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Buendia got free with Isac Gligor in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
