After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Vlad Imperiale got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 8th minute, Witold Pietras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Ezequiel Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eufrasio Vall was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Mariolo's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Pereira came free, but Eufrasio Vall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Mariolo got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Ponc. Mariolo's Umea Loza was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Frederico Barros's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Daniel Anaya skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guillerme Gadea got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Benedito Camargo. When Umea Loza came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Mariolo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umea Loza couldn't finish the play. Frederico Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Anaya having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mariolo's zone, Ezequiel Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eufrasio Vall came out of the goal and Ezequiel Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobo Guará's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Witold Pietras was slow to take the kick. During this time Mariolo's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mariolo's Witold Pietras to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Anaya despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

In the 51st minute, Umea Loza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Anaya was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 57 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Umea Loza came free, but Daniel Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lobo Guará's Willian Caca-Rato was substituted for Berker Başhekim. A sloppy throw-in by Guillerme Gadea in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lobo Guará's Sandrinho Machado. Eufrasio Vall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro de Moraes in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederico Barros in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Anaya saved Lobo Guará from getting behind. In the 74th minute Frederico Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Barbosa hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Mariolo defense, Ciro de Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eufrasio Vall. The Mariolo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eufrasio Vall should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Guillerme Gadea threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lobo Guará's Sandrinho Machado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Daniel Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lobo Guará's Vlad Imperiale got a free kick in the 87th minute. Daniel Anaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Barros's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Ciro de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufrasio Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
