Garth Brough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Roland having to interfere. Ovidio Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Martini in the 5th minute of play. Keylor Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erez Marica in the 7th minute of play. Lope Quijana took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keylor Navas. Keylor Navas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Garth Brough might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Roland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garth Brough ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidio Roland made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Garth Brough sent off a good shot on target. Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erez Marica, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 29th match minute, Intimos de Reynoso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo De Paul to maneuver through the defense. Garth Brough might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Roland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garth Brough ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garth Brough. Garth Brough blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Roland having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garth Brough got free with Ovidio Roland in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Boyd Allan hit a great ball. Australian Youth Academy's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lope Quijana in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Erez Marica came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garth Brough was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Garth Brough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Roland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Roland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Fletcher Baba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Intimos de Reynoso made a substitution. Marcus Björkänge replaced Janpier Alvisto. Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meder Muños in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Rufus Roach came free, but Ovidio Roland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Roland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Brough, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Intimos de Reynoso's Aquiles Castro got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Rufus Roach came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rufus Roach couldn't finish the play. Meder Muños's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keylor Navas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Fletcher Baba took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Roland. Ovidio Roland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
