After a defensive mix-up in G-Torp FF's zone, Onuralp Ergüden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Medeiros came out of the goal and Onuralp Ergüden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Onuralp Ergüden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dida Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Santos Campineiro's Dida Medeiros threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anibal Enekoitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. G-Torp FF's Dida Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save G-Torp FF from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Santos Campineiro booed when G-Torp FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Löv didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anibal Enekoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dida Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Åke Vibjörnsson hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Anibal Enekoitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dida Medeiros. Magnus Lövskog charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magnus Lövskog the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, G-Torp FF's Magnus Lövskog got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute Sidnei Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Sidnei Baptista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G-Torp FF's Dida Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santos Campineiro's Sidney Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidnei Baptista in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidnei Baptista in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Medeiros saved G-Torp FF from getting behind. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Sidney Albuquerque sped through G-Torp FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dida Medeiros. G-Torp FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos Campineiro the free kick. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for G-Torp FF! Dida Medeiros had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Cristiano Antunes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 96th match minute, G-Torp FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Lövskog to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the G-Torp FF defense, Sidnei Baptista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Medeiros. The G-Torp FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Medeiros should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Santos Campineiro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
