The corner led to Turma FC's Gaspard Sociats getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Turma FC booed when E. C. Uruguaiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Schneider didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Turma FC's goalkeeper Hamílton Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Eger. Hamílton Abraão came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by E. C. Uruguaiana's Clemente Eger. But to his dismay, Clemente Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The throw-in from Ove Söderkvist in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E. C. Uruguaiana's Valdemar da Cunha. Hamílton Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Mendonça in the 14th minute of play. Maicon Palmeira struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hamílton Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E. C. Uruguaiana. Hamílton Abraão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maicon Palmeira in the 20th minute. When E. C. After some careless play in the Turma FC defense, Maicon Palmeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamílton Abraão. The Turma FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamílton Abraão should have stopped the shot. Hamílton Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Geovani Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamílton Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. There was no doubt that E. C. Uruguaiana were the better team. E. C. Uruguaiana's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
