Anastasios Pallini might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jo Øverås. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anastasios Pallini ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute, Luis Bonet made a precise shot to the right of Wilhelm Galle. Kind of Blue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 46 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Bernini came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Daustad were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Bonet was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Kevin Bernini could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Wilhelm Galle however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle got control of the ball when Kevin Bernini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Bonet in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilhelm Galle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 minutes Daustad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joacim Hansson who took care of the corner kick. If Zhuo Ke Le had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kind of Blue's attentive Joel Barbosa managed to snatch the ball when Celestino Poncio made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Sebastian Käller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Øverås having to interfere.
