Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Steinmetz to strike the kick off in the second half. Santo Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Oliver Bierhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Delfines's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Bierhoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zachary Pliszka in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santo Marcos saved I Dont CopyXML Tactics from getting behind. Zachary Pliszka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Marcos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play.
