Los Delfines's Matías Patrone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joko Waluyo in the 22nd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Micky Febrian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matías Patrone, 1-1. Widodo Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 37th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joko Waluyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Oliver Bierhoff came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Los Delfines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Bierhoff couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Bierhoff in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Widodo Reza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's goal looked a bit too open when Jojo Guci came free, but Matías Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Orzaize's late challenge caught a Original Sabahan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Orzaize helped the player get up and apologised. Original Sabahan made a substitution. Fadhly Haryanto-Ie replaced Micky Febrian. Los Delfines made a substitution. Lu Bin Yuan replaced Hector Abadia. A collision led to Los Delfines getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Oscar Orzaize hit a great ball. If Fadhly Haryanto-Ie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Widodo Reza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arquímedes Cesario in the 89th minute of play. Arquímedes Cesario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Widodo Reza having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arquímedes Cesario in the 91st minute of play forced Original Sabahan's goalkeeper Widodo Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Widodo Reza came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Delfines's Arquímedes Cesario. But to his dismay, Arquímedes Cesario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Los Delfines played a much better game than Original Sabahan and deserved their victory. The Original Sabahan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
