In the 17th minute Arquímedes Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matías Patrone having to make a save. Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes Los Delfines's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joacim Hansson who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Kind of Blue's corner Zhuo Ke Le fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matías Patrone quite easily take care of the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Delfines's goalkeeper Matías Patrone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Luis Brown made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Raimundo Goyo however managed to control. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Quinten in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Käller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matías Patrone was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Kind of Blue's attentive Zhuo Ke Le managed to snatch the ball when José Luis Brown made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

José Luis Brown made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Atilano Quinten immediately put the ball in play. In the 52nd minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sebastian Käller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Käller in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matías Patrone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59thth minute of the game Sebastian Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Delfines's Matías Patrone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhuo Ke Le in the 62nd minute of play. Los Delfines's Victor Jerrold was substituted for Atilano Quinten. Valentin Primeiro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Kind of Blue made a substitution. Horea Boian replaced Anastasios Pallini. Los Delfines's José Luis Brown quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tonhão Rodrigues, made in the 77th minute of the game. In the 79th minute Epifanio Aznar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Los Delfines's Oliver Bierhoff sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilhelm Galle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Kind of Blue from getting a goal against them. Kind of Blue's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
