Matías Patrone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Lucero in the 13th minute. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Burni in the 14th minute of play. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Los Delfines from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Hector Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mira Pene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Patrone made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Tomas Lucero sent off a good shot on target. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Los Delfines from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Goyo in the 24th minute of play forced Paso FC's goalkeeper Mira Pene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Oliver Bierhoff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paso FC's Mira Pene was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Lucero scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matías Patrone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mira Pene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Bierhoff in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mira Pene prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 56th minute, Oliver Bierhoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Denis Rivas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ramon Burni took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matías Patrone. Matías Patrone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Los Delfines made a substitution. Arquímedes Cesario replaced Oliver Bierhoff. Los Delfines's Ambrosio Bartolome was substituted for Victor Jerrold. Matías Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Lucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Burni in the 80th minute of play. Mira Pene was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arquímedes Cesario showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 83 minute of play. Mira Pene was a little too slow when Arquímedes Cesario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 3-2. Paso FC were furious when Damien Law was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 96th minute Los Delfines were awarded a corner. Arquímedes Cesario went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Arquímedes Cesario almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paso FC's Mira Pene did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paso FC had won after a very even match.
