Lanzenkirchen's Roque Claus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Washington Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Åke Brummer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Sporting Westmeerbeek booed when Lanzenkirchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Häfeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Luck Hodson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Åke Brummer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Çelebi Tublek scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Åke Brummer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roque Clauss short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Matias Dimo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Bart-Jan De Vaddere got a free kick in the 17th minute. The Lanzenkirchen fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Lanzenkirchen's Roque Claus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Claus in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Dimo saved Sporting Westmeerbeek from getting behind. Roque Claus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Matias Dimo made a huge save. A hard shot 30 in the game by Roque Claus from a close distance when the talented Matias Dimo managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Westmeerbeek's players were relieved. With his leg Matias Dimo managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Lanzenkirchen's Roque Claus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th minute Çelebi Tublek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Roque Claus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Dimo was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Matias Dimo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Claus's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When Sporting Westmeerbeek's Çelebi Tublek, in the 38th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Westmeerbeek. Matias Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roque Claus got free with Matias Dimo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Matias Dimo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Claus. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Claus in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Dimo saved Sporting Westmeerbeek from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Aguilar to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Westmeerbeek's zone, Roque Claus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Dimo came out of the goal and Roque Claus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54thth minute of the game Roque Claus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer got control of the ball when Roque Aguilar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Claus in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Dimo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çelebi Tublek in the 61st minute of the match. After 65 minutes Sporting Westmeerbeek's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolai Nowak who took care of the corner kick. 68 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Çelebi Tublek came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Çelebi Tublek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Dimo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Claus's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Claus in the 76th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Claus came free, but Matias Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Freytag in the 86th minute of play. Matias Dimo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Claus's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer got control of the ball when Edward Cranenburgh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matias Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
