Raymond Foubert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filinto Carmona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jérémie Janot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Peng Xi in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Galip Balcıoğlu got free with Raymond Foubert in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 played minutes Olympique Salonais got a freekick which was hit by Ma Chao Yong. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Hector Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympique Salonais's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Etxepare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jérémie Janot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Salonais's zone, Galip Balcıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymond Foubert came out of the goal and Galip Balcıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 31 minutes of play, ☆ZEYTİNBURNUSPOR™1953's Galip Balcıoğlu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raymond Foubert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cheng Feng made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☆ZEYTİNBURNUSPOR™1953's Thanos Papakrivopoulos. 41 minutes into the match, Galip Balcıoğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raymond Foubert, 2-0. If Galip Balcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
