Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barry Gilbert kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Glasgow Rangers FC's Barry Gilbert got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Hitz in the 3rd minute of play forced Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Arthur Barns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Waldemar Matorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Barns. Glasgow Rangers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldemar Matorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 11 minutes of play, Black Rose 1979's Waldemar Matorin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arthur Barns was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Gerardo Hitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Barns. Glasgow Rangers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Hitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Gerardo Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldemar Matorin in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Barns saved Glasgow Rangers FC from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, Glasgow Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Fulton to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Glasgow Rangers FC defense, Gerardo Hitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arthur Barns. The Glasgow Rangers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arthur Barns should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Black Rose 1979's Davor Šuker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arthur Barns. Arthur Barns yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Arthur Barns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Hitz in the 35th minute of play. Rick Connor kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Davor Šuker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Gerardo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Barns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Hitz made a kick off. Arthur Barns came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Black Rose 1979's Davor Šuker. But to his dismay, Davor Šuker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Arthur Barns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davor Šuker, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sebastián Cassin hit a great ball. A hard shot by Lloyd McHutcheon from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Karl-Johan Ahlqvist's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's João Garcia got a free kick in the 60th minute. Glasgow Rangers FC's Lloyd McHutcheon got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Sebastián Cassin hit a great ball. The supporters of Glasgow Rangers FC booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Bean hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Glasgow Rangers FC's Arthur Barns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo-Nicolás Pérez in the 76th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Gerardo Hitz put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Arthur Barns. Glasgow Rangers FC's Arthur Barns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davor Šuker in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Davor Šuker notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Glasgow Rangers FC's Arthur Barns. Arthur Barns was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Glasgow Rangers FC's Arthur Barns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davor Šuker in the 89th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Waldemar Matorin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Rose 1979 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. When Waldemar Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Black Rose 1979 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldemar Matorin couldn't finish the play. Black Rose 1979's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
