The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tayyar Sanih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Enes Hezarfen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Viana was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Lüleburgazspor were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aşık Aytuğ took the corner. Lüleburgazspor's Tayyar Sanih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Wennerberg in the 8th minute of play. João Augusto Lopes hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Wennerberg. Enes Hezarfen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mané Viana made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Enes Hezarfen sent off a good shot on target. Mané Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enes Hezarfen in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Lüleburgazspor got a freekick which was hit by Bektaş Altıparmak. Mané Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enes Hezarfen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 27 played minutes Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ got a freekick which was hit by Carlinhos de Brito. Charis Markas made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dário Carneiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Carneiro in the 33rd minute of play forced Lüleburgazspor's goalkeeper Tayyar Sanih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enes Hezarfen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Mané Viana made a huge save. Enes Hezarfen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enes Hezarfen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute Enes Hezarfen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mané Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enes Hezarfen, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Lüleburgazspor's Tayyar Sanih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Wennerberg in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattias Wennerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Lüleburgazspor's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos de Brito came free, but Tayyar Sanih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes Lüleburgazspor got a freekick which was hit by Ataol Uran. With a little luck, Lüleburgazspor's Tayyar Sanih got control of the ball when Chico de Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes in the game Charis Markas did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carlinhos de Brito. 70 minutes into the game, Enes Hezarfen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mané Viana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ made a substitution. Adam Kopacz replaced Mattias Wennerberg. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Edmundo Cardoso was substituted for Charis Markas. 83 minutes into the match, Enes Hezarfen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Viana. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enes Hezarfen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After 86 minutes of play, Lüleburgazspor's Enes Hezarfen made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mané Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Enes Hezarfen came free, but Mané Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lüleburgazspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
