Richard Mühsam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Franco in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vern Wright in the 15th minute of play forced FC Germania München's goalkeeper Richard Mühsam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Kasper Rechkemmer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Boyd Winkler was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karsten Zentner was the one to do the kick off. Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Rechkemmer in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, one of FC Germania München:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Richard Mühsam had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Tyrell Houser's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Tyrell Houser scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Mühsam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 91 played minutes Pueblo FC got a freekick which was hit by Greg Shipley. Silvester Overesch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyd Winkler having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Ludger Krug ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boyd Winkler was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Pueblo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
