Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pero Falla kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Davide Rinaldi came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davide Rinaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Edwin van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Alborza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Sangermano having to interfere. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davide Rinaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pero Falla might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fortunato Sangermano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pero Falla ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achraf Hakimi to maneuver through the defense. Fortunato Sangermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jedrzej Kloczko in the 30th minute of the match. Edwin van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Kleanthis Zoumakis sent off a good shot on target. Edwin van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 44th minute. Davide Rinaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin van der Sar having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

51 minutes in the game Mario Alberto Yepes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aurelio Lara. After 54 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Jedrzej Kloczko. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davide Rinaldi in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin van der Sar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herta Budino made a substitution. Johannes Fransson replaced Adam Baldy. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pacorro Aguilar was substituted for Pero Falla. When Davide Rinaldi came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Herta Budino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davide Rinaldi couldn't finish the play. Herta Budino made a substitution. Pacorro Aguilar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Sangermano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edwin van der Sar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herta Budino's Virgílio Furtado was substituted for Achille Di Crescenzo. Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Herta Budino from getting a goal against them. Fortunato Sangermano came out of the goal and Santos Sanz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Furtado in the 94th minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fábio Grosso was slow to take the kick. During this time Herta Budino's players had a chance to rest. Herta Budino's Fábio Grosso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edwin van der Sar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
