In the 5th minute Tedj Sellal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tedj Sellal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Eduardo Garcia was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Bolivar's Tedj Sellal got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Bolivar's goalkeeper Saad Dar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cícero Cruz. In the 26th minute Cícero Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saad Dar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Xipoko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Cícero Cruz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saad Dar. The goal made the score 2-0. After 39 minutes of play, Xipoko's Nilton Ramalho made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saad Dar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the match, Brett Cordrey notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Xipoko's Luís Eduardo Garcia. Luís Eduardo Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Eduardo Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tedj Sellal's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tedj Sellal to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Xipoko booed when Bolivar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rund Boll didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saad Dar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Jakobe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Tedj Sellal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tedj Sellal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Cesario got free with Luís Eduardo Garcia in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the match, Xipoko's goal looked a bit too open when Tedj Sellal came free, but Luís Eduardo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernest Knowles kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Xipoko booed when Bolivar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordão Sesimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saad Dar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Batista in the 80th minute of the match. Xipoko were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Bolivar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luan Luan took the corner. Luís Eduardo Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tedj Sellal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 86 minutes Xipoko's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hemza Aliche who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Bruno Secco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Xipoko getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cícero Cruz hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Cesario got free with Luís Eduardo Garcia in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xipoko were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bolivar for a fine match.
