Hercule Couret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godofredo Marin's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Magicos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulus Van Poucke was slow to take the kick. During this time Maravilla's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Godofredo Marin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hercule Couret quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 11th minute, Godofredo Marin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Magicos booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reiner Sørrig didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Magicos's goalie and right to Victorino Txomin. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Magicos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Vermudo in the 22nd minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Facundo Altamirano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magicos's goalkeeper Hercule Couret, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cruz Credo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 24th playminute. In the 35th minute, Cruz Credo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hercule Couret was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Magicos's Moises Vermudo got a free kick in the 39th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cruz Credo was the one to do the kick off. Reiner Sørrig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Hercule Couret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maravilla's Cruz Credo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Magicos's goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Credo came free, but Hercule Couret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magicos's goalkeeper Hercule Couret, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Magicos's Honorato Elivareo was substituted for Jairo Rumaldo. The corner led Maravilla's Paulus Van Poucke to fire away a dangerous shot which Hercule Couret despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hercule Couret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Credo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The audience was convinced that Cruz Credo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hercule Couret was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Hercule Couret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cruz Credo in the 87th minute of the match. Maravilla were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Magicos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulus Van Poucke took the corner. After 92 played minutes Magicos got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Pagomari. Maravilla were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Magicos for a fine match.
