An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Rioja in the 13th minute of play forced FC Nereta's goalkeeper Izidors Boldāns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mareks Blumbergs in the 15th minute of play forced Geo-Winner's goalkeeper Sergey Sabadash to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petr Klimovskiy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Izidors Boldāns came out and tried to block the shot, but Petr Klimovskiy slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. Izidors Boldāns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veniamin Gorshkov in the 27th minute of play. Izidors Boldāns made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Rioja in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, FC Nereta's Dins Lūsītis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dins Lūsītis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Nereta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dins Lūsītis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Izidors Boldāns had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Veniamin Gorshkov's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Veniamin Gorshkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geo-Winner's supporters rose to their feet, but Veniamin Gorshkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Izidors Boldāns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cesar Rioja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Izidors Boldāns made a huge save. A collision led to FC Nereta getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mareks Blumbergs to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Nereta defense, Cesar Rioja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Izidors Boldāns. The FC Nereta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Izidors Boldāns should have stopped the shot. Cesar Rioja scored 4-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Izidors Boldāns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Izidors Boldāns didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesar Rioja went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute, Petr Klimovskiy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geo-Winner fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. In the 70th minute, Cesar Rioja made a precise shot to the right of Izidors Boldāns. FC Nereta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Cesar Rioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. There was no doubt that Geo-Winner were the better team. Geo-Winner's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
