Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cruz Credo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Gol took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Facundo Altamirano. Facundo Altamirano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Credo came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasco Gentil made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cruz Credo. Braulio Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thiago Gol made a kick off. Thiago Gol hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes Maravilla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florian Hekman who took care of the corner kick. SCs StarS's Jordy Dirks was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Facundo Altamirano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Maravilla's goalkeeper Facundo Altamirano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SCs StarS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florian Hekman in the 62nd minute. Florian Hekman made a great header on SCs StarS's corner, it was just that Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 78th match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Zijden to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SCs StarS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Florian Hekman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Facundo Altamirano. Maravilla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SCs StarS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
