Zecku's Petre Encuțescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Kochniarczyk in the 27th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Edmund Kochniarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Encuțescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iwo Zalipski during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zecku's Isidoro Manilan was substituted for Amadeo Pudes. After a rather tough play, Zecku's David Miliano got a free kick in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zecku had won after a very even match.
