Johannes Tidén blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michal Betonowy having to make a save. In the 8th match minute, Moodys IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Högberg to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Kochniarczyk came free, but Azam Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Johannes Tidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Betonowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moodys IF were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after SKS Chmielowice's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kjell-Arne Åberg took the corner. The corner led Moodys IF's Erik Pettersson to fire away a dangerous shot which Michal Betonowy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 12th minute Johannes Tidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Betonowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilbert Chrobak lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 15 minutes into the game, one of SKS Chmielowice:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 21 minutes into the match, Ilie Siteavu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Moodys IF's Azam Sum. Azam Sum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Azam Sum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Kochniarczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Kjell-Arne Åberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Michal Betonowy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Edmund Kochniarczyk came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the SKS Chmielowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmund Kochniarczyk couldn't finish the play. SKS Chmielowice's Michal Betonowy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save SKS Chmielowice from getting a goal against them. Azam Sum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmund Kochniarczyk went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Edmund Kochniarczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. SKS Chmielowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Kochniarczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azam Sum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian May to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ilie Siteavu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Moodys IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnabás Selymes to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's goalkeeper Azam Sum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Kochniarczyk. If Johannes Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SKS Chmielowice were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Moodys IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilie Siteavu took the corner. Moodys IF's Azam Sum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Moodys IF from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SKS Chmielowice walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
