Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Rocks in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hercule Couret prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 17 minutes of play, Zecku's Cássio Rocks made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hercule Couret was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moises Vermudo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Petre Encuțescu made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Beliran during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Wilfredo Lazcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Magicos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wilfredo Lazcano was slow to take the kick. During this time Zecku's players had a chance to rest. Wilfredo Lazcano made a great header on Zecku's corner, it was just that Magicos's Hercule Couret managed to reach the ball for a save. Hercule Couret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Rocks in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Cássio Rocks made a precise shot to the right of Hercule Couret. Magicos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Petre Encuțescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panayot Kanevchev in the 32nd minute of play. Júlio Vaz struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Hercule Couret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zecku. 36 minutes into the match, Cássio Rocks notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Magicos's Hercule Couret. Hercule Couret was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Remigiusz Felenak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilfredo Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Hercule Couret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zecku. After a rather tough play, Zecku's David Miliano got a free kick in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cássio Rocks made the kick off in the second half. Hercule Couret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Rocks's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Rocks got free with Hercule Couret in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Cássio Rocks kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hercule Couret. That made the score 0-4 in the 56 minute of play. Hercule Couret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Rocks's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Flavio Todor hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Magicos got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Todor. Mauro Malavasi hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of Magicos booed when Zecku was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zecku's zone, Panayot Kanevchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Encuțescu came out of the goal and Panayot Kanevchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Zecku's Hercule Couret threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivor Peake, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hercule Couret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Rocks's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Petre Encuțescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Vermudo in the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Magicos getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Remigiusz Felenak hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Rocks in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hercule Couret prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petre Encuțescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséas Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Rocks in the 85th minute of play forced Magicos's goalkeeper Hercule Couret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Cássio Rocks put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Hercule Couret. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zecku reached it. In the 93rd minute, Cássio Rocks made a precise shot to the right of Hercule Couret. Magicos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Cássio Rocks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hercule Couret having to interfere. The Zecku supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zecku would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
