A nice corner shot did that Jordy Dirks got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Azam Sum quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thiago Gol struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Azam Sum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SCs StarS. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordy Dirks in the 22nd minute of play forced Moodys IF's goalkeeper Azam Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moodys IF's goalkeeper Azam Sum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Gol scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Azam Sum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jordy Dirks managed to get in a good position for a shot. SCs StarS's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordy Dirks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azam Sum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half SCs StarS were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Thiago Gol made the kick off in the second half. Thiago Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a left leg Azam Sum saved Moodys IF from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Gol came free, but Azam Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Åberg came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azam Sum made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Jordy Dirks sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Barnabás Selymes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordy Dirks got free with Azam Sum in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Azam Sum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SCs StarS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
