Magicos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panayot Kanevchev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aivils Burss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hercule Couret having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Vermudo got free with Izidors Boldāns in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26thth minute of the game Mareks Blumbergs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magicos's Hercule Couret was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mareks Blumbergs in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hercule Couret saved Magicos from getting behind. If Oséas Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hercule Couret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aivils Burss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
