An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemanja Vidić in the 10th minute of play forced FC Nereta's goalkeeper Izidors Boldāns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Cruz Credo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Izidors Boldāns was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the FC Nereta defense, Godofredo Marin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Izidors Boldāns. The FC Nereta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Izidors Boldāns should have stopped the shot. Izidors Boldāns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulus Van Poucke in the 17th minute of the match. Izidors Boldāns didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cruz Credo went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. FC Nereta's Izidors Boldāns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cruz Credo in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cruz Credo in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Izidors Boldāns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cruz Credo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cruz Credo scored 0-4 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Izidors Boldāns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Maravilla booed when FC Nereta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drosmis Skipors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maravilla's Cruz Credo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cruz Credo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Izidors Boldāns read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Cruz Credo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cruz Credo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Cruz Credo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC Nereta's Izidors Boldāns. Izidors Boldāns was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Izidors Boldāns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Credo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Maravilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulus Van Poucke in the 43rd minute. After taking down the ball on Maravilla's corner Paulus Van Poucke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Izidors Boldāns quite easily take care of the ball. After 47 minutes FC Nereta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulus Van Poucke who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Godofredo Marin got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-6. 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mareks Blumbergs to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Paulus Van Poucke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulus Van Poucke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of FC Nereta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maravilla:s goal. Maravilla's Nemanja Vidić got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Paulus Van Poucke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maravilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulus Van Poucke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Izidors Boldāns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Nereta getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Dins Lūsītis hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nereta's zone, Paulus Van Poucke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Izidors Boldāns came out of the goal and Paulus Van Poucke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Cruz Credo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Izidors Boldāns. FC Nereta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cruz Credo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Dins Lūsītis kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Paulus Van Poucke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Izidors Boldāns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Nereta's goalkeeper Izidors Boldāns, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cruz Credo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Izidors Boldāns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maravilla. If Cruz Credo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
