MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Perivaldo Moreira came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Cristo Rei's Nilson Meireles. But to his dismay, Nilson Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Nilson Meireles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Perivaldo Moreira. MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, MARINUS MZC's Thiago Ortiz got a free kick in the 25th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Léo Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Cristo Rei's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MARINUS MZC the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Atlético Cristo Rei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Damião to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, MARINUS MZC's Délio Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredão Bueno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 39 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Arósio. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Délio Souza to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Evaristo Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Ortiz hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, MARINUS MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Netto hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Netto. Vítor Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Moreira having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Vítor Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Perivaldo Moreira. MARINUS MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Alfredão Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Guimarães in the 85th minute of play. The Atlético Cristo Rei players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
