Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raí Rodrigues took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to MARINUS MZC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Evaristo Arósio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in MARINUS MZC's zone, Eugênio Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Moreira came out of the goal and Eugênio Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Délio Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jefferson do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Eugênio Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Karaboudjan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugênio Tasso couldn't finish the play. Raí Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perivaldo Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raí Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the match, MARINUS MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Raí Rodrigues came free, but Perivaldo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tales Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Jefferson do Vale acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Thiago Ortiz. A hard shot 30 in the game by Délio Souza from a close distance when the talented Jefferson do Vale managed to make a qualified save. Karaboudjan's players were relieved. 39 minutes into the game, Délio Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MARINUS MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karaboudjan the free kick. Vítor de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raí Rodrigues in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Moreira saved MARINUS MZC from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Délio Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Valdo Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Guimarães came free, but Jefferson do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Vianna hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jefferson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Guimarães in the 66th minute of the match. Evaristo Arósio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Perivaldo Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado França in the 82nd minute. After 83 minutes, Donato de Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARINUS MZC and the Karaboudjan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donato de Souza hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Soares got free with Perivaldo Moreira in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, MARINUS MZC's Perivaldo Moreira got control of the ball when Frank Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karaboudjan's Jefferson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Guimarães in the 94th minute of play. Evaristo Arósio was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when MARINUS MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karaboudjan were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing MARINUS MZC to leave the ground with a draw.
