In the 8th minute of the match Gabriel Trigo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Germano Galvão skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Enéas Soeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano Galvão was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Gilvan Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vítor Vergílio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Germano Galvão came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Bitelon FC - SAF's Fiori Souto. But to his dismay, Fiori Souto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Mixto Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Souto came free, but Germano Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Franklin Baptista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germano Galvão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Jefferson Vale hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Fiori Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Fiori Souto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. José Vítor Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Vítor Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Chicão Quirino got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Mixto Esporte Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bitelon FC - SAF were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enéas Soeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fiori Reis's late challenge caught a Mixto Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mixto Esporte Clube's Germano Galvão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Mixto Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bitelon FC - SAF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
