In the 19th minute, SK Mons's Leif Olofsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Betinho Arantes. Betinho Arantes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Bror Hanmark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Pihl. SK Mons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bror Hanmark was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Diamantino Britto hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Maxim Gogea notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SK Mons's Alex Pihl. Alex Pihl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Gogea in the 33rd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Maxim Gogea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Bror Hanmark made the kick off in the second half. Alex Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Gogea, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Ulici in the 56th minute of play forced BK Nerysminne's goalkeeper Betinho Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, BK Nerysminne's Maxim Gogea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Pihl. Alex Pihl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Maxim Gogea took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Pihl. Alex Pihl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Maxim Gogea might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Pihl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxim Gogea ran back to his position shaking his head. Alex Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Gogea in the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, SK Mons's goalkeeper Alex Pihl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxim Gogea. Yanniek Verhaert charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yanniek Verhaert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SK Mons getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Yanniek Verhaert hit a great ball. Bror Hanmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alex Pihl made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Bror Hanmark sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Yanniek Verhaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Pihl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maxim Gogea in the 92nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bror Hanmark got free with Alex Pihl in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BK Nerysminne played a much better game than SK Mons and deserved their victory. The SK Mons players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
