A collision led to AllRaf EC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cauan Pena hit a great ball. In the 15th minute Leif Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Márcio Massa took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alex Pihl to make any attempt to save it. If Augusto Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Pihl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Pimenta's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Wellington Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Olofsson in the 26th minute of play. After 28th play minutes Cornel Ulici shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Wellington Fantini and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Smidts in the 31st minute of play forced AllRaf EC's goalkeeper Wellington Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Smidts in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, SK Mons's Benoit Gijselinckx seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Benoit Gijselinckx the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SK Mons protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benoit Gijselinckx had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of SK Mons:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AllRaf EC:s goal. Alex Pihl went to the wrong direction when Murillo Baiano was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Massa got free with Alex Pihl in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The AllRaf EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Mons were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruben Smidts stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leif Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Wellington Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leif Olofsson got free with Wellington Fantini in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Leif Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the SK Mons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Olofsson couldn't finish the play. Ruben Smidts came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wellington Fantini could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márcio Massa in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Pihl saved SK Mons from getting behind. After some careless play in the SK Mons defense, Murillo Baiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Pihl. The SK Mons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Pihl should have stopped the shot. SK Mons's Yanniek Verhaert was substituted for Sammy Van Houdtvin. In the 74th minute Cauan Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, SK Mons's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Pimenta came free, but Alex Pihl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SK Mons's Leif Olofsson got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Murillo Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Pihl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alex Pihl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Baiano in the 91st minute of play. Augusto Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Augusto Pimenta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AllRaf EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. The AllRaf EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SK Mons's performance. The match ended with a win for SK Mons.
