Mateo Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Márcio Santos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur didn't even have to move. When Ritvaldis Rau came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Juventudes Libertárias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ritvaldis Rau couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd match minute, Juventudes Libertárias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexsandro Simão to maneuver through the defense. If Humberto Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Ritvaldis Rau recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabio Betadur. Ritvaldis Rau showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Simão came free, but Fabio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Leocadio in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to LA DEL MONO getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Zhuo Sha Le hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Juventudes Libertárias's zone, Betinho Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Eliazar came out of the goal and Betinho Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th match minute, Juventudes Libertárias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Humberto Leocadio managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA DEL MONO's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Leocadio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro Eliazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Leocadio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ritvaldis Rau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Juventudes Libertárias booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 65 in the game by Humberto Leocadio from a close distance when the talented Mauro Eliazar managed to make a qualified save. Juventudes Libertárias's players were relieved. After some careless play in the LA DEL MONO defense, Gilson Meirelles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Betadur. The LA DEL MONO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Betadur should have stopped the shot. Agostinho Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Betadur having to interfere. Humberto Leocadio in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mauro Eliazar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 79 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Simão came free, but Fabio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Falcão. The audience was convinced that Agostinho Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Betadur was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Fabio Betadur came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventudes Libertárias's Alexsandro Simão. But to his dismay, Alexsandro Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 93rd minute, Betinho Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Leocadio got free with Mauro Eliazar in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
