Mauro Eliazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Skytt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Alexsandro Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Escarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Juventudes Libertárias's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baldomero Chano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 18th minute Ronny Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Du Yuan Chao in the 19th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Baldomero Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Juventudes Libertárias getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Yu Ying Yang hit a great ball. Du Yuan Chao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Du Yuan Chao made a kick off. Mauro Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Du Yuan Chao in the 52nd minute of play.
