In the 7th minute of the match, Valentin Sandaili tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chiquinho Romero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Sandaili in the 12th minute of play. Oscar Ekhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Morales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toro Morales in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Ekhi saved Quebrachitos FC from getting behind. Chiquinho Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Giehl in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udo Giehl in the 22nd minute of play forced Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Cresenciano in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute Toro Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Cresenciano in the 31st minute of play forced Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Oscar Ekhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Ekhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Saverio Cresenciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Ekhi was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Chiquinho Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Barca in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Udo Giehl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chiquinho Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Frontera AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aníbal Barca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Frontera AFC's Cristian Lema was substituted for Cristian Medina. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Toro Morales took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for Oscar Ekhi to make any attempt to save it. The Quebrachitos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quebrachitos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Frontera AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
