The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Nahitantino:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Buzău:s goal. Everardo Javiero had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Ionuț Năsturel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eugen Carabulea hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Mateo in the 26th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Javiero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ionuț Năsturel in the 27th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Camilo Hernando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Buzincu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Mateo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Everardo Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Ţiţeica, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Anselmo Mateo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Alex Buzincu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nahitantino. The audience was convinced that Fermin Iyan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Buzincu was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Castel Prabes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Jorrin came free, but Alex Buzincu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
