Atlético-PR's Oswaldo Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Eklund in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Văn 吕布 in the 23rd minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Oswaldo Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Văn 吕布's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Văn 吕布 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oswaldo Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Văn 吕布, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Hoffmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bai Jian Ao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The corner led Atlético-PR's Dráuzio Barral to fire away a dangerous shot which Bai Jian Ao despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pedrinho Hoffmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bai Jian Ao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Oswaldo Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Văn 吕布, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 minutes, Laurențiu Roşu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stakbröte and the Atlético-PR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stakbröte's Laurențiu Roşu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedrinho Hoffmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bai Jian Ao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Sampaio in the 53rd minute of play. If Văn 吕布 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Văn 吕布 got free with Oswaldo Paraíba in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the game, Eugênio Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético-PR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stakbröte the free kick. Eugênio Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Atlético-PR's Cacá Breckenfeld was substituted for Eugênio Azevedo. Văn 吕布 succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 62nd playminute. Văn 吕布 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Văn 吕布 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Beckham Jr in the 70th minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Oswaldo Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Perivaldo Sampaio notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Stakbröte's Bai Jian Ao. Bai Jian Ao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aaron Buba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Oswaldo Paraíba made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Buba got free with Oswaldo Paraíba in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Stakbröte defense, Hong Jian Fan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bai Jian Ao. The Stakbröte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bai Jian Ao should have stopped the shot. Oswaldo Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Aaron Buba sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Beckham Jr in the 86th minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Oswaldo Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Villarreal Laranga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stakbröte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. The Atlético-PR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Stakbröte were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
