In the 6th minute Roman Gdaniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Girona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Johansson came free, but Cristiano Aveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséias de Andrade made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Roman Gdaniec sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Johansson in the 14th minute of play forced Girona FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Girona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Magdaleno Encina came free, but Cristiano Aveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marvin Bejarano hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Oséias de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kepa Molina in the 32nd minute of the match. Oséias de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Lustosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tiki Taka FC's Oséias de Andrade got control of the ball when Roman Gdaniec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oséias de Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Gdaniec in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Gaizkine Babia notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tiki Taka FC's Oséias de Andrade. Oséias de Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiki Taka FC's Oséias de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Tiki Taka FC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Gdaniec was the one to do the kick off. Roman Gdaniec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oséias de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Gdaniec in the 58th minute of the match. Mats Ekerot made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ragnar Johansson immediately put the ball in play. Everardo Atauri scored 2-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oséias de Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Everardo Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Girona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Atauri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséias de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oséias de Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kepa Molina went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 81 minutes into the match, Girona FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Sampaio. Everardo Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias de Andrade having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Tiki Taka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Atauri came free, but Oséias de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Everardo Atauri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magdaleno Encina in the 92nd minute of play forced Girona FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
