Fernando Cavenaghi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniël Isla having to interfere. Daniël Isla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Li Sen Ling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Di Giambattista. In the 47th minute of the match Mateusz Piontkovskiy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniël Isla skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Li Sen Ling during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
