In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Máté Márton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Congo Bongo defense, Xiao Zhen Yun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máté Márton. The Congo Bongo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máté Márton should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Congo Bongo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of H4K.BR:s goal. Congo Bongo:s Máté Márton showed great skill when he stopped Severo Barbosa:s penalty. In the 45th minute, Severo Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máté Márton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

H4K.BR's Ahmet Ali Yücesan got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Congo Bongo made a substitution.
