The supporters of Flying Dutch booed when Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxin Martel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hever Pozos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Ivașcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a little luck, Flying Dutch's Josue Barro got control of the ball when Maxin Martel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute, Fabian Ivașcu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flying Dutch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Gasteiz Burgos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eagles FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flying Dutch the free kick. A collision led to Eagles FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gasteiz Burgos hit a great ball. Clementi Carana charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clementi Carana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Xacintu in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hever Pozos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Shen Fan Shu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Eurico Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hever Pozos came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Flying Dutch's Higinio Raymundo. But to his dismay, Higinio Raymundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Procopio Cornejo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eagles FC! Hever Pozos had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Eurico Batista's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Maxin Martel made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Cido de Medeiros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hever Pozos. The goal made the score 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabian Ivașcu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hever Pozos. That made the score 0-4 in the 57 minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Ivașcu came free, but Hever Pozos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Ivașcu in the 60th minute of play forced Eagles FC's goalkeeper Hever Pozos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josue Barro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxin Martel in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Ivașcu came free, but Hever Pozos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match, Niceto Xacintu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hever Pozos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Jardel Pinheiro notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Eagles FC's Hever Pozos. Hever Pozos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Eagles FC defense, Niceto Xacintu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hever Pozos. The Eagles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hever Pozos should have stopped the shot. Hever Pozos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Xacintu in the 79th minute. Maxin Martel's late challenge caught a Flying Dutch's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxin Martel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute Cido de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hever Pozos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Marcones Leonor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eagles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcones Leonor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Maxin Martel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Barro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eagles FC's Gaspard Valenciaga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jardel Pinheiro, made in the 91st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Raymundo in the 93rd minute of play forced Eagles FC's goalkeeper Hever Pozos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Cido de Medeiros in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Eagles FC's Kepa Isazi.
The Eagles FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Flying Dutch were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
